View Full Version : Famitsu scores Mario Kart Wii

Leading Japanese magazine Famtisu has reviewed Mario Kart for the Wii and has scored it a pretty solid 37/40, which suggests that it falls just short of perfection. The UK NOM also reviewed the game and awarded it a score of 94 percent so it looks like this one is in the fast lane to the top as expected.

SMash Brothers, Mario Galaxies, Zelda, Mario Kart, Metroid. Well this wraps up all the 1st party games from Nintendo. Are they doomed after this?

F-Zero is yet to come, I really hope they bring out a Wii one cos I loved the gamecube one! Other than that they can just bring out sequels I guess.

The actual Famitsu scores are 10/9/9/9. That is nothing short of amazing considering the magazine has always been very conservative with it's reviews.

F-Zero, Star Fox, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Donkey Kong Country, Luigi's Mansion, Yoshi's Island, Mario Golf/Tennis, Wave Race, Kid Icarus, there's plenty of other Nintendo stuff that can be used for great games, new IPs notwithstanding. before the Wii's lifetime is over, we might also see a new Zelda and/or Mario World game. Then there's "casual wii" like Wii Fit, Wii Music, Wiintendogs, and certainly others coming out. Nintendo is *FAR* from doomed.

no i believe they just start the rotation back again starting with Zelda.

After FZero GX, StarFox Command and Fox McCloud's Furry Adventures do you really think that NIntendo's gonna do another FZero or starfox?

Best version of F-Zero is on N64, Gamecube version sucked a little, better when Nintendo make F-Zero not like Sega on Gamecube
