Hi All,
I am already using a custom firmware, but I hardly if ever update unless there is a reason. The last time I updated, I created the Pandora battery and updated using that. I am on 3.71 M33-2.
Since the Multi Poploader only works on 3.71M33-4, I was thinking of updating. While reading on the update, I realized I didn't really need to use Pandora.
So my question is, if you are running CFW, why use pandora if you are on a PSP Fat?

U donīt need pandora to update from a CFW to another CFW. But if want to unbrick or update from an original firmware to cfw u need a pandora

You do need to use Pandora to downgrade from one cfw to another right?
I have to say, once you stop following the scene it could get confusing getting back into it. I feel like a noob again. Haha, I remember having to change PRX files to play games.

You dont need pandora to change from one custom firmware to another. You can just upgrade.

Yeah, good old Devhook. I thought that was the best thing ever at the time. I feel like am old man. Back in my day, we had to decompile our PSP Isos, strip out the PRXs, replace them with other PRXs, walk a mile in the snow, with no shoes on cause we couldn't afford shoes, then recompile the game to play. And you know what, we liked it! Unlike you spoiled M33 Kids!
Thanks, thats what I thought. I created the Pandora for a friend PSP Slim anyway, and tested it on my PSP first to make sure I didn't mess his up. So that is why I was checking. I didn't want to keep using it if I didn't need to. But I am keeping it as a battery just in case.

But you would need Pandora to go from 3.90 m33-2 to 3.81 m33 though. At least that is what I understood.
Thanks again.

Yeah, I saw that, but I have a PSP Phat. So no need for time machine on my end. I was thinking of getting a slim for tv out.
If you use time machine, can you still do TV out? I still use PMP as I like the added sound and brightness features, so I wouldn't mind putting that on a tv. Or GOW of course.
