Why are all of the R4s and M3 Simplys out of stock??

the m3 simply was discontinued late last year

the r4 factory was supposedly shut down although there is no confirmation of this however no one in their right mind would buy an r4 now as its simply too old / outdated, the dstt and edge and even the n5 offer the same or bettter compatability at a fraction of the price, whilst cards like the syclo ds evo, supercard ds one v3 and acrkard rpg all offer superior features at a similar price.

I already have an R4 from about a year ago. A friend just asked me where to get an R4 because he couldn't find one. I will tell him to get a DSTT instead.

i've never heard of the edge one you mention or the n5, could you link me up with a site that sells them. thanks

i only know one place that sells them and they have no stocks but you'll find details for both on gbatemp.

stay clear of the n5, its an r4 clone so sucks just as badly compared to everything else.

edge card is sold out everywhere or selling at hugely inflated prices

you might look at the acekard v2 its slightly more expensive than the cheapest cards but its a good card and offers levels of compatability like the cyclo evo

because every store that gets them in at a reasonable price gets hammered by resellers who buy out their entire stocks very quickly so they can sell them at a vastly inflated price either on their own websop or through the decent auction sites that dont have hissey fits like fleabay.

heck if you are that desperate to get an r4 pm me and i'll link you to an auction site that sells them but they cost around $55 (some $30 more than they are worth) and that doesnt include shipping.

supplies of most of the decent cards are ok but there are a lot of people trying to buy them and they tend to be produced in small batches.

currently the acekard v2 and dstt are shipping ok, a new batch of edge cards should be with suppliers this weekend, n5 is getting such bad press that supplies are pretty easy to find, supercard one v3's are shipping ok for the time being, batch 4 of the cyclo evo is still shipping, acekard rpg is a bit limited at present due to production of the v2, m3 real supply is ok so you should be able to get pretty much any decent card (or an n5).

M3 ds simply has been stopped production now ,because the advanced version m3 ds real has been released last year by M3 team.The m3 ds real is more functional than simply.
But i haven't heard that r4ds is also stopped production now. I saw some large flash cards resellers' store, they still have r4ds instock, such as www.digimartz.com, from their tracking page, it shows many people get from them recently.

If you have money, get a cycloDS seriously. Ive tested R4, and M3, and its the best of the 3. look into it @ gbatemp.net

I was lucky enough to snag an R4 cheap last November, although the lack of SDHC is killing me >_< I'm thinking of getting a DSTT soon just so I can use a 4GB card for music.

true, 1gb or 2gb isn't enough for most people anymore, there is just too many good games for ds now.

dude DSTT is not the card to spend your money on. They have poor reliability and a short shelf life. If you have a really good trustworrthy supplier then its a good budget option, otherwise be wary.
