Download this folder, extract it.
http://rapidshare.com/files/96866031/RECOVERY_FOLDER_3.71.rar.html
Then boot your PSP in recovery, and put the RECOVERY folder in the GAME folder.
Then disable the the USB.
Then select Run program at /psp/game/recovery.pbp
This will downgrade your PSP back to 1.5 so that you can reinstall your custom firmware.

If you can still access the recovery menu you only have a semi-brick. First, try going into recovery and selecting "format flash1 and reset settings." This will probably fix whatever happened. If not, put the 3.80M33 installer in psp/game/recovery and try to run it from the recovery menu (don't forget the 380.pbp). With any luck you'll be gaming again in no time.
Still make a Pandora, though, you never know when you might need it.

@NinjaRyu:
Before you send someone back to 1.50 you might want to check if the psp is a classic ond not a slim. Now it's only semi-bricked, but putting a 1.50 fw on a slim will fully brick it for sure.
@pspaddict124:
Follow the bottom link in my signature.
Download the latest batTool from the attachments.
Put the eboot.pbp (along with the .prx) in ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY and run it from the recovery menu. This will convert your battery to a Pandora.
From the same post download the AutoInstaller and run it to setup your memstick. Just follow the include readme and the instuctions on screen.
Once that is both taken care of, boot the psp into DCv4 by holding the D-UP button on power-up.
You'll see the DCv4 menu. FIRST do a NandDump by pressing SQUARE. (Make sure to backup this dump to your computer or some other safe place)
Once that is finished, press CROSS to install a fresh cfw M33 3.80-5
That's the safest way to go, good luck.
PS.
Please don't create two threads for the same problem. You will be helped by the forum members if you ask nicely and be patient.
