Hey guys,

I haven't been around the modding scene for almost 2 years now and have lost track completely of all the methods of upgrading, downgrading and what the paths to everything is. I have an older Phat PSP that was bought with FW 1.51 on it. It has since been upgraded to 2.71 and now I want to run 3.90 m33-2. I think that is the best option for me. So I have a few questions:

1. What is the best/easiest way to go from 2.71 to 3.90 m33-2? I do not have access to any other PSPs and my battery is not modified.

2. What programs do I need to run my backed up games and does 3.90 m33-2 support this capability?

3. Once I have a modded firmware running, can I then put pandora or that other battery mod on my battery?

Just for information, I have a 4 GB pro duo so space isn't an issue.

I appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

Just so people who may read this know, here is what I did.

I used a downgrader to downgrade to 1.5, then used the Dark Alex easy installer for 3.52 M33, then upgraded it to 3.52 M33-4 using its easy installer. After that, I used to 3.90 M33 and 3.90 M33-2 easy installers to get to 3.90. This firmware has an ISO folder that you place ISOs in to run backups.

I still do not have an answer for 3 yet though.

You can make yourself a pandora battery or you can use time-machine.
