Hey i recently ran into a problem making any backed up 360 games work in my system.

stats:
x360 with orig firmware that came outta the box bought 4 months ago.
samsung dvd with 1.3 firmware hack
TSSTCorp cd/dvdw SH-S162A ATA Device
Clone CD Vr. 5.3.0.1
WinVista Ultimate 32 bit
AMD XP 2100+
1.5 gigs of ram
DVD+R DL Verbatim (there like 70 bucks here for ten!)

I know there is a newer version of the hacked firmware out there but could this be my major issue? My 360 does not have a internet connection never has. Weirdly enough i can play all my older backups. It seemed to start happening right around the time i backed up my Mass Effect that i bought.

Im thinking its my burner but it can still burn all other known media such as my ps2 backups work fine aswell as my ps1 and i can make music cd's fine. Each disk comes out varified by whatever program i use and says its okay.

Do you not have any friends local to you whos modded 360 you can try out your discs in?

Where you from?

i have an old-ish SH-183A that's incapable of burning 360 games, just spits out coasters everytime. PS2 and Wii games work fine however.

Also, check if those Verbatims are made in India, if they are they're horrible quality disks, every stack i've gotten have been coasters. I stick to Aone disks now, never failed me.
