PS3 blu-ray drives packing up
Maxconsole reader, daps83777, contacted us to let us know that there are multiple reports online of people who have had their PS3's blu-ray drives die on them, meaning they cannot play blu-ray movies or games. The error code most people have been getting for this is '80010514', sometimes referred to as the "code of death." Most forum members have said Sony will replace the unit with no fuss, however if your PS3 is out of warranty it apparently costs $150 to be fixed.
