MS conducting fresh bans on modified Xbox 360 units from Live
The moment that all Xbox 360 firmware modders feared has come true - MS is conducting a fresh round of bans on all those Xbox 360's which have had their firmware modified. Some might say this is just deserts for playing backups on Live while others may question why firmware modders should get banned for a service they are paying for. Artik from Logic-Sunrise has informed us that early indications reveal that iXtreme firmware v1.2 and beyond are not hurt by the new detections and the same goes for the BenQ firmware although this has not been extensively confirmed.
